Saw a few really nice streakers last. High, thin overcast tonight. Saw the space station fly over though.

Get a good star app and you can see all kinds of great space junk.

I've been using a free app on my iPhone called Sky View to pin point celestial bodies.

It doesn't matter if you're sitting inside or out among the stars...day or night. It's actually pretty fascinating.

Here are a couple of pics I captured while making my morning cup of coffee at home.

I use Sky Guide. I can't remember if it costs or not. It gives you little bong's and buzzes when something cool is going to happen. The Iridium satellites are really fascinating to me. You get a notice that one will flash you in five minutes. The thing knows where you are on the face of the earth and then knows when the sun will bounce off the things so you can see it. The cool thing is you watch for it and see nothing and then all of a sudden it flashes. The one last night was -6.1, very bright!
