Kent, I always liked the Lovin' Spoonful's songs. You may also remember this one from band founder John B. Sebastion:

In my vast collection of LD’s (Laser Discs not Motorhomes), resides a favorite unsung movie by former Monkey Michael Nesmith. It’s a fun little collection of video shorts and songs.

Here is one of my all time favorites.  “Eldorado To The Moon”.

Enjoy

Temperatures Rising so I figured there’s no time like the present to reprise a “Road Tunes” tune...

Always liked Steppenwolf.  Here's a live version (well, lip-synced anyway) from the Smothers Brothers show in '69:

In my family as when the kids were young enough  I could tell em what they liked we had a method on finding the prefect camping site.
Drive deep into a National Forest till you can't drive no more.  Then hike in till you are just this side of a divorce and lo and behold there is the prefect camp spot.

Songs bring back the past in a flash. This particular song brings back a bit of summertime romance.

Here is some of the softer and more romantic music I enjoy...

Combichrist - Sent To Destroy

Nachtmahr - Deus Ex Machina

Rammstein - Mein Teil

The above-mentioned bands are from Norway, Austria and Germany, respectively. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy each of them live over the years.

Another Combichrist fan!  I have to play their "What the F**k is Wrong With You" every time I'm stuck in LA traffic.

As the weather chills, Coffee takes on a special meaning. A good cup of coffee, a fine film and good friends.

Here’s the theme song from one of my favorite films-Bagdad Cafe.

Enjoy.
