Starting a new topic quoting content from an existing one
The recent side discussion in someone's classified ad topic reminded me of this forum feature

Let's say there's something in a post you want to ask about, but taking the conversation there would be going off-topic from the original post title, so you really should start a new topic.

You Can Do It!

To make it a new topic, just hover over "More" at the bottom right of the post you want as a starting point, select (click on) "New Topic", then change the topic title and the board at the top of your new post.  It quotes the original post (PLEASE edit down to just the relevant content) and starts a new topic with a MEANINGFUL title and in the board you've chosen as appropriate for the discussion.
