Feedback on 20 amp Shore Power
Some months ago, I asked the LDO Forum for guidance about using a  20 amp extension cord to run the AC.   Of course, I received a boatload of valuable guidance.  It's taken us a while to buy the few parts to implement the plan.  Last week, we bought a 10 gauge 1.5' adapter cord which connects to the LD (30 amp to a 15 amp male fitting).  Secondly, we bought a 12 gauge extension cord rated for 20 amps which we connect to a 20 amp plug at the house.   We turned the refrigerator to gas to reduce any electrical draw and then turned on the air conditioner.  I allowed it to run for about an hour and it seemed to work as others have suggested it would.  Then turned off the AC and just left the 20 amp shore power to run the frig and keep the 12 volt system charged.   We leave tomorrow for a short 4 day trip to central Texas (Lake Brownwood).
