As other LD folk have before us, we stayed at the Sierra SKP Park outside Yosemite on route 41. A lovely park. We touched base with Lorna, an LD owner. She was great and welcoming. Re: Visiting Yosemite NP Reply #1 – March 27, 2016, 09:15:55 am Yahoo Message Number: 159608The last rain storm was last October!---- It's good that you're enjoying pleasant travel weather now, but Coarsegold, like several other parts of California (some more, some less this past season), has had rain and occasional light snow in some quantity each month between last October and now; if it hadn't, you wouldn't be seeing any "green" (or water in Yosemite)!Rainless months (during our always hoped-for rainy season) are not "positives" for most people in California; we rejoice when the sky opens up! ;-)As ever, YMMV.Joan
