Bob had many medical challenges over the past few years, but he always bounced back, until now.Integrity and honesty were very important to Bob. You could count on him.We last saw each other in person in Ventura CA this past September. He did not mention to me that his health was declining. Instead, we talked about the tamales he loved to eat in Santa Barbara, among other things.Last month, he told me in an email that he wouldn't be able to come to Quartzsite this year, since he had some doctor's appointments lined up in NV.I will miss Bob greatly. He was a very unique individual. Sometimes on this forum, he would post his thoughts spontaneously, which sometimes got him in trouble. But, that was the beauty of Bob. No pretense.
