Soooooo the weather folks are predicting below freezing weather.  hmmm says I guess its time I do the deed.
OK I'm finishing up camping on the Oregon coast.  Since I'm near a dump station I'll just dump the gray and black water tanks and if there is no one waiting I dump the fresh water tank also.  As luck came my way this plan worked great.   I was able to do a very good cleaning of the black tank.  Was able to drive home with empty tanks.   Got home rested for the night.  Early the next day started the air compressor (btw my nieghbors love to listen to air compressor at 8 AM or so I'm told).  Opps forgot to drain the hot water tank - next step drained the hot water tank.  Adjusted the air compressor to 40 pounds of pressure then removed the hose going into the water filter.   Removed water filter to drain off water inside said filter.  Attached blow out hose to water line attached air compressor to blow out hose then.....  nothing.  Oh ok water grugle sound.  It slowly dawned on me I was pushing air into the water tank.   At this point I was happy nobody was watching this show.  I turn off air compressor, removed blow out hose, reattached it to the water outlet line on other side of water pump.  This plan worked as it should.  I cleared all the water from the system.  Put the pink stuff (antifreeze) in the sink traps.  Also put a bit of pink in the black tank just because.   Baxter the travel turtle is tucked for the next month of so.

Lessons
1.  Don't wait to the last minute to winterize.
2. No amount of air in water tank will clear the water out of kitchen, hot water and shower water lines.
3. Try to convince wife to move to a place where you would never have to winterize.  (boy am I dreaming)

Good cheap camping available in the Borrego Desert (SoCal) or Arizona this time of year.
I just left the freeze zone of southern, OR. and lucky enough to go Nevada via the High Sierras with a side trip to Lake Tahoe before the winter snow hits. Think I'll head to Yuma maybe. When I retired people said what's your plan? I said not to have one and I have mostly stuck to it.
