If the amount of noise has increased that is a sign of a problem and you need to tell us what the change is. If the complaint is that the whispering has always been loud that may be the nature of the older pump and hopeful marketing.I do not know how long you have been RVing so at the risk of insulting you I will go to basics. Please forgive me if your beyond this.The pump on my 07 is some what loud as compared to our home that uses city water pressure and the farm house of my youth that had a pump outside. But when the pump is low on water it gets even louder. This happens when I first start the pump after filling up and it needs priming, or when the fresh water tank is near empty and some cavitation happens. If the pump runs a few beats when the water is not on that is a leaking problem.
