I have a motorcycle rack on the back but I need one on the front so I can haul 2. I bet Eckhart in L.A. could do this but if a bolt on solution is available I would explore that. Thank you.bobmoore14

Not that this matters much for a chassis out of warranty, but it makes you wonder what the reasoning is. Will the air flow to the radiator be blocked so much as to cause overheating?Just wondering.Kent

Please give a page reference and maybe an orientation to what section so the rest of us can find this in our manuals.I've never seen this in my 2011 book, although I might have missed it. I did look hard before installing my front receiver (from Amazon) that's used for a bike rack with dog x-pens or a flag pole mount or a step to make pulling those really long dip sticks easier (& loft exterior cleaning) or for parking a small trailer so I can see what I'm doing...it's rather handy.Lori Y 2011 24FL

I've carried bikes, though can't put a cover on them 'cause it would block too much air flow, so you have to accept bugs. But if you've ever carried bikes on the back and on dirt roads, the bugs are better than a thick layer of dirt.I sometimes pull a 35 foot glider trailer, the front hitch is handy for maneuvering the trailer into tight parking spots with safety and precision.

There is a reason why Ford added such a large radiator intake, it needs a lot of air when the going get hot and tough. It adds weight in the one place you really don't want to add it. The front end of most LDs is already loaded heavily. Bottom line, full-timing while towing a Jeep and carrying two motorcycles, with a E350, is pushing things beyond the limits and is asking for trouble IMHO.A medium-duty truck, pulling a 40' toy box might be a better fit for your desires.Larry

Then I can piggy back one on it. After Jan. I will only have the Honda to haul (200 lbs.) Will just have to cut back on the pizza and beer LOL.I always like to test the limits. Not wise but sometimes fun. Bet I am one of the few to have an LD front end go air...Oh never mind. But it was fun. Being a 58 year old kid isn't all bad. No truck and trailer for me.
