Replacing baggage door
Yahoo Message Number: 156286
I'm in the process of replacing a baggage door frame on my '95 LD. As with everything Lazy Daze builds, the frame is just about glued on with sealant. Has anyone had successful experience in removing a frame and cleaning off all the old sealant before I replace it with a new one? Also, can you suggest a good replacement sealant I should use? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks so much.

Chuck-
When I ordered sealant from the factory a couple of years ago they sent me tubes of Loctite PL S40. I've purchased subsequent tubes at a local hardware store. If you call the factory they should give you their current recommendation.

Best wishes getting the old stuff off.
