Photo of the Month March 12, 2015, 05:52:26 pm Yahoo Message Number: 151532I've finally figured out how to post a new Photo of the Month without buying PhotoShop. This one was taken at Curecanti Natl Monument, CO in Aug. 2012 and was posted by Jim and Gayle Cummings. Please continue to post any photos you might want to have considered in the P of the M album in the Photos section. Photos that can be widened to a 1020x250 width will work the best. Otherwise, much of the photo is lost.Chris (currently enjoying a family visit in Palo Alto, CA)

Re: Photo of the Month Reply #5 – March 12, 2015, 07:48:05 pm Yahoo Message Number: 151537On my laptop (MacBook Pro), the banner picture would flash on the screen, and then disappear. This had been going on for some time. I discovered just now that if I scroll up, the picture returns. Weird.virtual hugs,Judie http://dorrieanne.wordpress.com

Re: Photo of the Month Reply #7 – March 12, 2015, 10:59:03 pm Yahoo Message Number: 151545I could not see the picture when using my iPhone.I do not know if this is a new problem using the phone to see the picture. It's been a few months sense I took notice of the picture on the phone's screen. I use my iMac for looking at pictures and can see the photo just fine on that device. For good measure I checked my wife's PC and the photo looks good there too. I do not know if the issue is with yahoo or with Apple. I say Apple because I recently updated the phones software (in the last few days).Using my phone I can see photos on my website that are sized for the cover page, http://dac.smugmug.com/Camping/Cover-photos-for-LD-Yahoo/n-KjGqK/. Perhaps someone with an iPad that has had trouble with the cover photo for this group site can look at the photos in my link. John
Re: Photo of the Month Reply #8 – March 12, 2015, 11:15:18 pm Yahoo Message Number: 151547I should have thought of this sooner. When I turn my iPhone sideways so the screen is more landscape friendly I can see most of this site's cover photo. That tells me that yahoo may not be able to scale the photos in the banner below some size. I have the same issue with the Northeast LD yahoo site. John

Re: Photo of the Month Reply #12 – March 14, 2015, 11:47:09 am Yahoo Message Number: 151559Just checked; the photo does show on my iPad, but not on my Windows laptop. All past photos on this site have shown on both devices, and I haven't changed my settings. Who knows? ;-)--- The photo just appeared (on the home page of the message board) on my laptop, *two days* after Chris put the photo up. Magic; no changes to my settings, no different use protocols, nada. The "time lapse" is likely due to some weird Yahoo glitch....As ever, YMMV.Joan
