Four wheels down: NOT ALLOWED"Traditionally, 4X4 Jeeps had a two-speed transfercase, with a neutral position that allowed flat towing. The Renegade Trailhawk does not have a two speed transfercase, instead, having a 9-speed transmission with very low gears and a low axle ratio. No true neutral for towing.Jeep is not honoring it traditions. It once was American made and flat towable, now it can't be towed and is made in a Fiat plant in Italy. Hate to think what the next generation of the Wrangler will be like.As you said, too bad. The Renegade could have become a very popular toad in a world where suitable toads become scarcer everyday.Larry
