"Bobbsey Twins" Weekend at Borrego Springs, CA

Several months ago we started looking seriously for a small motorhome. Good sailing friends who have the same model sailboat as us, suggested we look at Lazy-Daze RV's also. Turns out they were right! We found a nice used TK model and have been enjoying her as often as we can.  It also turned out both our LD sport the same colors!  Really, it was purely coincidental!  Just because we both grew up in the same town, and have the identical sailboat, it was fate that steered us to our Lazy-Daze.  We're starting out slow figuring out where to put everything, and what we need, etc,  This weekend was out first multi-day trip away from our home, and our friends wanted to show us one of their favorite places. What a wonderful time, and it gave us a new appreciation for the beauty and solitude of the desert.

In 1995 we bought our first LD, a 1983 FL with burnt orange stripping, along with a burnt orange and brown interior and shag carpet...very retro looking.
Our good friends then bought a 1985 T/K, in burnt orange.
We camped at the beach often with them, always parked side by side, and constantly had people stopping to look at these two burnt-orange retro beauties.
Good memories.

One LD, parked at the beach is nice to look at, two of them, in the same color, is a show, Enjoy making memories with your 'twin'.
