Holiday gifts (off topic)
Yahoo Message Number: 144085
I've just posted a new article to my Skylarking website with instructions for three easy-to-make gifts: custom soaps, homemade lip balm (a necessity for us southwesterners!), and truly cool 3D-printed cookie cutters (no, you don't need a 3D printer).

And here's one other RVing gift suggestion that I recently saw on the Technomadia website: a roll of quarters for laundry is always welcome. :-)

As a followup to my last post, I've just created a cookie cutter in the shape of a 23' Lazy Daze. Credit for this idea goes to Helen Huyffer of the Northeast Lazy Daze Caravan Club, who back in 2005 hand-made a Lazy Daze cookie cutter from tin in order to bake "Gertie" cookies as a going-away present when I became a fulltimer. Thanks, Helen!

My new LD cookie cutter model is available on the CookieCaster website. You can download the file from that page, and then upload it to Shapeways to have your own Lazy Daze cookie cutter made for under $16.

Details: before downloading the .stl file from CookieCaster, specify 4" size, 0.65" height, and 1.5mm thickness. At Shapeways, upload the file and choose their "Strong & Flexible Polished" material in any color that suits your fancy.

Have fun! Happy holidays, everyone!
