Where do you keep the ladder when you are traveling? November 26, 2013, 09:25:35 am Yahoo Message Number: 143817Does anyone have a proven way to keep that ladder in the slot behind the driver seat, when you are underway? It sure comes crashing down on a turn when it's not secured well. What's your trick?Wendy Harris(still learning!)

But if I had a problem with it flopping around, I'd use a broom clip to secure it. One should be enough.Although I don't need the ladder at bedtime, I do use it occasionally when working outside the rig. In that situation, I pull an old sock over each of the ladder's hooks, so that I can lean it against the side of the coach without scratching the finish.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels

It stays there and holds small light weight items like pillows and sheets in place. The bed folded over keeps it from moving to the center and falling out. A fleece blanket folded around the one end of ladder with the extra length of the blanket between the two halves of the folded overhead bed.

If I sleep up there (rare) I just step up from the back of the dinette seat in the MB (no shoes of course).-Dave '06 MB, Indianapolis

I store it up there with the hooks facing down to reduce its movement/sliding. Sometimes, however, I have need to travel without putting the ladder up in the loft. In those cases, I have a short loop of shock cord with a hook on one end. The loop goes over the end of the ladder and the hook goes onto the window valence trim piece above the forward dinette seat and the ladder rides vertically in the slot between the passenger seat and the dinette back.Ken F in NM
