A LD in Winter

I came across this photo, and give the cold snap across much of the US, I thought it might be interesting to other LD owners.

Perhaps this is where LD's go when the chassis wears out?

Coulda been mine, I was in Iowa 3 days ago....11° and nothing was winterized or drained except the gray tank. One gallon of RV antifreeze in the black & gray tanks. Nothing froze up, nothing broke.

It's my dear old Gertie! I just heard from the couple who live in her now--her sixth owners since 1985. They sent me a copy of the photo and said "This was our winter set-up on the farm we were working on last season. Thanks for taking such great care of Gertie. She's our home!"

So cool! :-)
