Bathroom roof vent issue

On my new to me 2002 RB 26.5 the bathroom vent handle just spins.
I had to use a torx screwdriver to remove the screw and it was very hard to unscrew. I removed the screw completely but I can't get the handle off or even get the handle to move at all. When I pull directly down on the handle it feel like I will break something, put lube on it but it still won't budge.
The vent is the model with the fan but I don't know the brand.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

All bath vents have a fan. If it is a Fantastic Fan, the fan is large and ducted to fill the entire vent opening. If it is the standard vent, the fan is small and noisy. Which fan?
