Received an email from Marinco stating "When replacing the ring on the standard cord end one thing to try is to heat up the lip that the ring goes over this will make it more pliable. Next a little soap helps put it on one side and kind of twist/ screw it on to get it over the other side."Lon 2003 MB in Lake County, CA
