The Snipe!! April 10, 2013, 05:09:58 pm Yahoo Message Number: 138184Is there anyone close to San Jose who could\ would go look at this for, e? If it isn't sold already? I am in Arizona, and could bet here in 3 days. I REALLY like this- the motor, the color, it looks in perfect shape. They are not mentioning mileage, it might be high if it already needed a timing belt. That's my guess. But what's high for a huge motor like that?? Does this mean 8 mpg? So-- anyone nearby with the time to go look at it? Thanks! My email is and I will send you my phone #. Fuel reimbursement if you have to go very far....

He's been awfully quiet lately - is he on a private recon mission to swoop up The Snipe if it turns out A-OK? Larry is off-grid on vacation right now. He may pop-in here occasionally, but the Bay area is NOT on the itinerary.Steve

Happy not to be tent camping. Heading into slot canyon country tomorrow.Larry

Re: The Snipe!! Reply #6 – April 11, 2013, 06:47:40 pm Yahoo Message Number: 138209Thank you Joan, Very interesting only 22' models were offered with the GM 454 until 1994, 95, and 96 in the 30 IB. Strange choice but I'm sure the mothership had a reason. So....If you want anything longer besides the 30' it will be a FORD!Funny the 6.2 Diesels are not mentioned tho!Good thing I don't have a grudge with FORD 22' can be cozy. :-)Sent by wireless
