It seems to be working for me. Although it does auto download the file to my downloads folder. I presume you did log-in to Yahoo before trying?

I guess Yahoo changed the way we view these files. My adobe reader isnt working for me so I viewed it through Microsoft office word.. not simple anymore with just a click.. sheesh!

--- ? The Files and all the other links are all accessible through the Yahoo Life with a Lazy Daze RV website; log on and click "Files" (or another) from the list at the left side of the "Home" page and any message page.

Yes, but most of us are seeing a distinct (and annoying!) change in Yahoo's behavior: when I click on any of these files (such as a for-sale ad), instead of opening in my browser for immediate viewing, the file downloads to my hard drive. I must then find it and open it with a text editor to see its contents.
Because most of our files are very small, the download happens so quickly that if you're not watching closely, you may never realize it took place. That makes the system seem unresponsive--"I clicked the file, but nothing happened!"

I don't know why Yahoo changed this, but I wish they hadn't.

It's possible an update to your browser caused the change; regardless, you may be able to set the desired behavior in your browser. In my FireFox sibling (Seamonkey), it's done in Preferences > Browser > Helper applications, where you find the file extension, then set the default to be Open, Save, etc.

Don't think so, Eric--it happened to all of us at the same time a couple of weeks ago, and affects multiple operating systems (Mac OS X, Windows) and multiple browsers (IE, Safari, and Firefox). But thanks for the tip.
