Water Leak Detector November 13, 2012, 06:11:12 am Yahoo Message Number: 135115As the extremely happy and proud new owner of a 2007 Lazy Daze RB, I have noted that the"mothership" has found many different locations to place the water pump. Not wanting to find a water pool surprise, haven't had one, just don't want one, I have been looking for a low cost, DC powered, water leak detector. I found one on the Honeywell factory store site. http://www.honeywellstore.com/store/products/honeywell-water-defense-leak-sensing-alarm.htmHas anyone had any experience with battery powered water leak detectors. The video demo on the web site looked pretty good. Any comments on water leak detectors would be much appreciated. As a side note, I have been following this wonderful forum group almost from its' inception. From the fireman in San Luis Obispo, Sara in Seattle and her 1st LD, Chris H. and his 30ft island bed order, and of course, Andy and Gertie. Never new retirement could take so long and be so far away. Now that it is here I hope every thing slows down even more. Thanks to all the wonderful, helpful, and generous people on this forum, it's good to know that a beautiful slice of Americana that I grew up with, is still out there for all of us to go see. Sorry, my first post looks a little long. Thank you for letting me post. God Bless

Several folks here have used leak detectors, a common one being from Harbor Freight. http://www.harborfreight.com/water-overflow-alarm-92334.htmlSo after many years of reading the posts here, do you have a name?Larry

I check the battery when I winterize each fall.Chris H.
