My concern is with the driver's leg room. I am 6' tall, weigh 250#, and somewhat long-legged. I also have neuropathy in both legs, so the ability to move my legs while driving is important. I did call the factory this morning, but other than telling me about the chassis change in 2008 that added legroom, they could not give me any numbers. I live in Grand Junction, CO, and I don't have access to any LD's to sit in. In order to test the Lazy Daze I mentioned above, I would have to fly to the west coast - a cost I'd rather not incur unless I could be reasonably certain I could comfortably fit in the driver's seat.I would be grateful for any advice the group members would provide,Regards to all,Dale

May we suggest that (unless a local member pops up due to your post) that you see if you can find a 2005 Ford panel van to take a seat check in. That should give you a relatively close comparison.The drivers seat extends back amply far to take care of the leg length. What might hinder you is the "dog house" (engine cover) that extends into the cab area. If you ever find yourself in the passenger seat...that could be a problem. The MB has the refer behind the seat and that greatly limits reclining the seat. Not a problem for me as I always drive with seat about straight up. I think all the 23's have more room behind the seat than the MB. Others can ring on that opinion. One other thing, we never drive over four hours a day and try to hold it under 2.5. The spare had to be moved from under the rear "continental" tire cover to the rearmost passenger side outside storage bin. This change occurred at the end of 1999." What I don't know is if this brought the MB in line with the other models, or if the MB then had more legroom than the others. I hope the former is true.Regards,Dale

The mid bath has a better floor plan imo when parked, but it is important to me to be comfortable while driving also.Rich

Your comments have been very helpful. I even had an offer today from a member who is camped a short distance from my home to visit him tomorrow and try the seating for my self. That should go a long way to resolving my concerns. I'm not new ti RVing, having had several years experience with a 5W.
