Rat damaged electrical wiring loom question
Yahoo Message Number: 129397
I just found that a rat had chewed into the wiring loom about 6 inches downline from the Power Distribution Box in the engine compartment and will need to be repaired or replaced. Is this portion of the loom modular so only a portion needs to be replaced or does the whole engine compartment wiring loom need to be replaced if it can't be repaired ?

Thanks for your replies,

JC

Well it can always be repaired but may be a considerable job. Can't answer the other specifics..

I don't know the answer to that but check with your insurance company.
When the same thing happened to mine my insurance did pay for the electrical to be replaced.
