Denver area Ford dealers and RV service

We are getting ready for our first Alaska road trip this June and plan to have the chassis checked out before we go. I have been doing the required lubrication as listed in the service manual, but we are due for our first big service before we leave. Does anyone have a dealership on the Front Range that you have used and trust? There used to be one close to us in Colorado Springs (Phil Long) but it looks as though they closed their truck shop or at least the one on Sinton Road.

 Hope to see you along the road in Alaska this summer, I'll be there too.
 I have to presume you have a copy of the "Milepost". Being positioned in Colorado I'd think you'll be using the "East Access Route" entering Alberta at Sweet Grass, MT (Coutts, AB). If so, do not pass up the opportunity to visit "Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump", about 11 miles NW of Fort Macleod. It's a World Heritage site. There's a nice campground less than 3 miles from the park.

Larry:  We live in Mead north of Denver.  I personally use DM RV Repair in Loveland and they do good work on any type of RV repair or inspection and prices are fair.   Their number is 970-461-2424.   Their website is www.rvmobilerepair.com.  They do have a mobile service, but I go to their shop.  Closer to you, I have met with Danette Veenstra of Recreation Vehicle Accessories at 2111 S. Leyden Street, in Denver.  Website is www.rvadenver.com, and their phone is 303-756-9493.  I met Danette at an RV show in Denver and was impressed with her knowledge.  We talked about putting an electric awning on the LD, but as yet have not done it.   They are an old family business and I would feel comfortable working with them.   Good luck.    Gale

Larry,
 I used to take our LD to Auto-Truck Services at 620 N juanita in Colorado Springs.  They are just across the alley from Fargo's Pizza.  They are authorized to perform Ford truck warranty service and do good work.  If you really want to take it to Phil Long, they have moved their truck service to the Motor City location.  One time at their location on Sinton Road was enough for me to search for some place else.

We're in Golden so Denver is closest for us. There is a Ford truck dealer, Rush Ford @ 5025 Vasquez Blvd, Denver. Their number is 303-297-3673. Not as convenient as a Springs dealer but they've done good work for us.
 Keep good notes on your trip. We'd love to hear about it. We are hoping to make it next year.
