RV rent spots at private homes

Hi, anyone have much experience with renting spots/living in RV's on another person's lot?  Any common issues with zoning, HOA's, electrical, water/wastewater, etc.?

There are probably as many different rules as there are colors of jelly beans.  Our HOA allows staying in an RV for two weeks maximum annually.
Water and electrical are not issues.  Waste would be as we live in an area of septic tanks.
