Crooked River State Park April 23, 2011, 04:29:12 pm Yahoo Message Number: 122084Alex, Wednesday we left home en-route to Charleston SC, first stopping halfway at Crooked River SP for the night. We had never been there before and wanted to see the park. Beautiful place. While driving around trying to pick just the right site, we spotted another green Lazy Daze! What a surprise. After setting up at our site we walked over and introduced ourself to Jim & Kathy Jensen from Oregon who are now full timing in their 2004 thirty foot LD. We spent quite some time talking about our units, places we both have traveled, and future destinations (and of course they were very curious about Newfoundland). What a delightful couple to meet! We hope to see them again in future travels, maybe at our two space campground at our ranch in Brooksville. We are now at James Island for Easter weekend visiting with family then going to Savannah for a few days before returning home. It is always good meeting other LD owners as yourself. Mike
Re: Crooked River State Park Reply #1 – September 14, 2019, 08:03:51 pm I know this was an old post, but I think our 1 week ago new-to-us 2004 LD 30IB was the Jensen's coach. The placard at the door and the characteristics match. We live near Seattle, WA and the coach is still in amazing shape. We bought it from a kind couple in Lacey. This is our first weekend out...couldn't be more excited to be part of the group and enjoying our family!-Joel
