LED bulb for puck lights

Has anyone here tried this 10 LED bulb for the puck lights.

Based on the size of the light I was concerned that it would be too big. I have tried the 6 LED bulb which fits easily.

 Good luck with anything from Superbrightleds lasting more than a few weeks before burning up.
If you want LED tail lights, buy the entire 4" flanged assembly.

Those look interesting and the price isn't bad How wide is the beam? Is the light output equal to a 10-watt puck?

 I replaced 10W halogen bulbs with these and the light output seems about the same.  They seem to cover about the same area as the halogens covered with the installed reflector but I haven't tried to measure the diameter.  I installed 10 of them in the front area of our 2000 Foretravel U320 and they really appear to provide the same amount of light as the 10 halogen lights replaced.  I will probably replace the other 19 before long.  Since these provide general lighting along the sides rather than a direct reading light, my use is a bit different than it would be in a LD.
 I expect these to actually have a long life because they are rated at 10-30V DC which means they have some sort of current limiter installed.  Less expensive lights are usually rated for 12V and the higher auto voltage probably over drives them.  (Just my opinion)
 Yes, we went over to the dark side in October when we found a deal on a 2000 Foretravel that was just too good to pass up.  Our 2004 LD Mid Bath sold without us even advertising it.  Due to the 36' length we will have to pass up some of the spots we like the best but I think it is short enough that we can still get into a lot of good spots.

That sounds like a great way to fill the whole MH with light.
Running 4-6 pucks under each overhead cabinet, in the lounge, should provide much more even light than the fluorescent and use a lot less power. 10 LED pucks would use about 1/2 the power a single fluorescent uses.
It's good news that the cost of LEDs is dropping and the colors are getting cooler.
Wonder what a couple of the bulbs would look like inside an existing Fluorescent fixture?

All of the newer high-powered LEDs need current regulation.
Smaller bulbs can use resistors to limit current. Many of the cheaper bulbs  use lower resistance to increase brightness at the expense of longevity. This seemed to be the problem with Superbrightled's early products. Maybe they have improved but their older stuff was mostly over-driven and suffered short lives.

Larry,
 We have had six of the G4 LED from Superbright since 2/2010. Use them everyday and they are doing well. Hopefully, it will continue.

 These are the other lights I was looking at because they had 9 LED and they have a notch near the pins which I thought might make a better fit. Did you put these into halogen puck lights and were those lights the same size as those in the LD?

I did put them in halogen puck lights but since my LD did not have puck lights I am not sure if they are exactly the same size as those in the LD.  In my case they are about the same size as the diameter of the reflector in the puck.  To install them I inserted the pins into the socket and as the edge farthest from the pins contacted the reflector I pushed gently on the edge so that the pins bent slightly and the whole LCD assembly was flush with the edge of the reflector.  In some pucks it is possible to easily remove the reflector (which is not needed with the LCDs) but that was not a viable option for me.
