painting eternabond November 09, 2010, 11:51:42 am Yahoo Message Number: 118127For those of you who may be interested, I wrote to eternabond and asked whether or not eternabond tape could be painted and they replied:Dale,We appreciate your interest in Eternabond. You can paint the RoofSeal Eternabond tape and it will not harm the tape. However it may flake after a period of time due to expansion and contraction differences and also because the tape surface is fairly slick. We do make a version of our tape called WebSeal, this tape has a top surface that is made out of a poly reinforced cloth that is designed to be painted or coated. Paint adheres very well to this tape but the surface will be a little rough because you are painting a cloth like surface.Sincerely,Tom BrennerETERNABOND847-837-9400x137
