New (to me) 2003 MB. Trip home, and a SteerSafe question. July 25, 2010, 05:26:20 am Yahoo Message Number: 114708After six months of looking, and too many hours searching the archives here, I picked up a 2003 MB in Oklahoma and drove it back to NC. We only saw 1 other LD during the trip, a green MB (I think) heading west on I-40 close to Memphis. I'm completely impressed with the quality of the coach, and with the way it was outfitted by the previous owner. We spent most of the week camping in the NC/VA mountains, and are thrilled to have it home.Along the way, I noticed something that I'm going to have to fix. (1) This coach has a SteerSafe installed, and the passenger side wheel bracket doesn't look right. Instead of begin square with the ground, it sits at a 45 degree angle. In other words, it looks like the pull from the springs has caused the bottom of the wheel bracket to roll towards the center of the coach. I think I'll have to loosen the springs and reinstall the wheel bracket. Any advice or suggestions from someone who has been there before?Rich 2003 MB #2830
