You must be thinking of somebody else, Anne. I did buy a Shark EuroPro corded vacuum a long ago, but it didn't work very well, and I soon gave it away. My current vacuum is a Eureka, but as mentioned in a post a few days ago, I do 90% of my floor cleaning with my Swivel Sweeper. :-) Since we're talking about Woot, I shoulld add that *today's* Woot, the ACDelco Plug-2-Go Car to Car Charging System, is a poor choice. Get a good set of jumper cables instead.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/

Many (most?) people are scared to death to play around with jumpers and trying to determine the correct way to hook them up. Having seen a several batteries blow up, I consider battery jumping to be one of the most hazardous maintenance activities a motorist can engage in. People have good reason be concerned about their safety The car-to-car jumpers are slow but simple and safe to use and requires no fumbling around under the hood. For folks who are clueless about the mechanical parts of their cars, this is the safer choice. Now for the next-to-clueless folks who will open their hoods, a set of the new, polarity-protected jumpers can be a good choice. https://www.buysmartcables.com/ver4/index.asp> Unfortunately, they are too short to jump a LD from it's own coach battery.Larry

That's a good point, Larry--I spoke too hastily. The main drawback of the ACDelco product Woot is offering is that it's ungodly slow. One owner says "I have NEVER been able to get them to work in less than one hour." Most people don't have the patience to wait an hour for a jump start. But as you say, they *are* safe and idiot-proof... unlike jumper cables, which can cause serious injuries if used improperly. So there really is a place for this product--one could say that place is "in your grandmother's glovebox" and not be too far off. :-)Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/
