Water Heater won't Ignite
Yahoo Message Number: 111136
We had to replace the pressure relief today and now the water heater won't ignite. When I turn on the switch on the control panel nothing happens( no red light at all) The fuse for the water heater is good and the other panel lights display. I removed and replaced the wires thinking of something loose..nothing..Anyone have any thoughts? Can the water heater be ignited from outside overriding the switch if needed?

Thanks

When our water heater didn't ignite I pulled the wires in the outside panel and scraped them shiny with a pen knife--I may have used some conducting grease as well.  After that the heater started and hasn't been any trouble since.
