Fogged rear window

Hi, Thanks Garry and Gini for your suggestions.  After much research we have found out that the rear window of the midbath is made of dual pane insulated tempered glass which cannot be repaired and must be replaced.
It is made by Hehr and can be obtained from them for  $725 plus shipping.

Thanks for sharing that info.
I wonder how much shipping runs.  Looks like they have 4 plants around the country:  http://tinyurl.com/yahon33

Are the 5900 series our windows? http://www.hehr-international.com/pdf/5900SERIES.pdf

Can the single-pane windows on "vintage" rigs be replaced with these double-panes?  The sizes didn't change, did they?

Thanks, Tessa

Only Steve can answer that question. Who know what changes LD made when changing to the dual-pane window. Hehr might be able to tell you if you knew the originals window's model number but you don't.
You would think they are the same; could be a big surprise when the new window doesn't fit.

i question wwhether the window can be ordered directly from Hehr.  When i called them about my windows they said they only sold to OEM and that i could order thru LD or Parkinson in Elkhart {1-800-687-8938}.  because of this i ordered the replacement door window fromm LD.
