Planning to fulltime January 29, 2010, 06:42:37 pm Yahoo Message Number: 109595OK, Chris and Andy, thank you. When we went fulltime in 2001/2 we considered an LLC and dismissed the idea. Presently, since we have more time than money, we felt we should review our previous thinking and see if anything has changed. Right now, when we sell our home and have NO ties to any state, we plan to move to South Dakota, these plans could change. Someone once wrote that that if you want to make God laugh, make plans. Paul thank you for your ideas and well wishes. When we read your suggestion we said "that's a great idea, wonder if it would work in a 24' as well?". Ann and Jerry
Re: Planning to fulltime Reply #1 – January 29, 2010, 07:01:24 pm Yahoo Message Number: 109597You're welcome. Since you liked one idea about controlling sight but not sound, how about a (heavy?) curtain across the RB right behind the twin sofas? That way the person up for hours at night can use the dinette as base for computer and reading AND have full run of the kitchen AND bath - AND cut off light transmission into the bedroom at the ceiling. By the way, we had no problem full-timing in a 26.5 ft LD even with a limit of 14,050 lbs. Looking at the 24 footer floor plans I don't see how any would work as well my suggestions for a RB. But then, I'm not that familiar with 24 footers.best, paul"Thriving not surviving" - Paul Schaye (at 2008 NYC Marathon) - See our website at www. You can make SD your home of residence through many PO box providers there. Several folks on this forum have SD residence and only return every 5 yrs (is that right?) to renew drivers licences, etc.Chris

I'm pretty sure that's what they're talking about; i.e., getting a mail forwarding service in South Dakota to establish domicile rather than actually, physically, living there.Linda Hylton http://map.datastormusers.com/user1.cfm?user=1167 http://earl-linda.blogspot.com
planning to fulltime Reply #4 – January 29, 2010, 09:37:38 pm Yahoo Message Number: 109601Does anyone in this group fulltime in their Lazy Daze? We would love to hear from you. Our last RV was 36' with 2 slide-outs but we know we can do well in much less space. Thanks again Paul. You have caused us to relook at other choices, which is always a good thing.
