looking for barrel chair seat belt enxtenders

Our cat carriers fit snugly in the barrel chairs of or IB, but the seat belts area too short strap around the carriers. I know there are clip-in seat belt extenders but I've not been able to determine what type I need. The seat belts on the barrel chairs are not the same as the what's used for the cab seats.
I contacted the Mothership, but they're unsure and still researching the question. Has anyone added extensions to the barrel chair seat belts?

Richard, I went to a junk yard with a picture of the seat belt.  They matched it and I bought a set.  I then took it to a shoe store and they cut and sewed the extension in the length I wanted.  I did this for my LD and my conversion van.
