Echo Charger January 18, 2010, 10:52:54 pm Yahoo Message Number: 109270Keep your engine battery charged on shore or solar power. http://www.xantrex.com/web/id/103/p/1/pt/8/product.aspMine isn't installed yet, but it will be. Xantrex is as good as it gets so I expect it to work very well. (personal opinion) Harry

Re: Xantrex's echo~charge Reply #2 – January 19, 2010, 10:23:24 am Yahoo Message Number: 109272From the specs, it appears this device does exactly what the Trik-L-Start does: charges the starting battery while the house batteries are being charged by the converter or solar panels. However, it costs nearly three times as much as the Trik-L-Start. I agree that Xantrex has a good reputation, but unless I'm overlooking something, Xantrex's echo~charge seems pricey for what it does.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/
