I went with route 42S...sitting in Seven Feathers Casino RV parking lot, waiting for some kind of clearer weather before i hazard Siskoyou [?sp] Pass....now I wish I'd braved the 299 route direct, but ah well. Looks like cold and wet and overcast for days to come...sigh..winter...

I also wanted to add my thoughtful thanks in general, for this excellent group, moderator and folks all. I've been reading and learning and preparing for my full timing adventure for almost four years now, and I credit all of you for making it as painless and safe as you have. Whenever I've had a question, people have come forth with help, answers or directions to where I can GET the right answer, the right tool, appliance, information, etc.

I've been on the net since there was no windows interface--dos!! only, and I've seen the evolution of first newsgroups to yahoo groups....this group has been consistently the kindest, most polite and informative and FRIENDLIEST I've had the pleasure to be a part of...so, kudos, not just to Andy tho he gets the lion's share but to you all...thanks!

Most definitely couldn't have done it without you all.
