Has anyone tried the above mentioned floor vac? I am interested  if it does a good job of removing sand from the carpet. We spend our winters in Baja and we track in a lot of sand. No matter how hard we try to keep it out.
Thank Jerri

I have one, but my opinion is still out on this one... It's kind of bulky to store anywhere in the RV... The base is large and the charge lasts about 10 minutes. It picks up really well, including pet hair. You can have the brush rotating or not... I had the brushes on in my RV and it grabbed some of string of the Berber carpet in there and away it went... It started pulling all the loops in some of the carpet. I bought mine at WalMart for $89.99.

Hi Jerri,

We got a 2.5 gallon Shop Vac.
It sucks, real good.
Guaranteed to get Baja sand out of the LD and the toad.
It stores under the dinette seat.
It cost about $30 and comes with several attachments.
Check it out. We found it at Lowe's.

Cheers, Don
