36 LED Replacements for Halogens (Warm White)

I just wanted to share this with everybody.  As many of you know, we replaced our bedroom lights with swivel lights from IKEA (they came with halogen bulbs).  While I've always liked the fixtures better than the originals, the halogens were always a bit bright for reading in the bedroom (they were so bright they lit up the whole room, sort of negating the idea of a spot bean for reading).

A few weeks ago I found a replacement bulb for the push in halogens (2 straight push in prongs).  The replacement is a warm white 36 LED bulb, and the best part is it was only $5. with free shipping.  The price is now $8.54 including shipping, but I have to say I still think they're worth it.
 They're a direct replacement for the old halogens (and still cheaper than the halogens at $8.54) and the light is fine for reading.  It's somewhat yellow but a huge improvement over the cold white of other LEDs I've tried.

Just thought I'd post this review in case anyone is interested.

Kate, Did Cholula Red come equipped with halogens or did you add the fixture??  Tara, our 2006 MB came only with the flat florescent lights in the lounge/bedroom area.  They put out more light than one person needs for reading. Don Malpas was sweet enough to help us add rope/mood lighting above and under the valance in that area (which we love-contact Don for instructions), but it's not enough light for reading.  Are you planning to post pictures of your lighting enhancements to your website?  I looked and didn't see anything.  It would be helpful!  Thanks.

 I have been so bad about updating the website, my apologies.  I seem to post everything to the blog these days, so I will REALLY try to post some pictures of the bedroom lights somewhere soon (and post here when I do).
 Cholula Red is a 30TB, so we had the weird little brass sconces with the pleated lamp shades, which I hated.  Not only did they not appeal to me aesthetically, but the light shined right in your face and lit up the entire room.  We replaced them with small directional lights from IKEA (which apparently they don't offer any more, but I'm sure something comparable is available).

I do have one picture that I meant to post, it's not great, but you can see the lamps here (with the old halogen bulbs)

The 36-LED bulb can be used in lighting fixtures, that use a standard double-contact bayonet bulb, with the adapter below
