Replacement Awning

A recent mishap resulted in a scraped and bent awning cover. It barely works now. Our local repair shop says the Carefree factory has slowed production to a point where after six weeks of trying they still can't commit to a ship date. We need an awning.

Has anyone found a suitable replacement?

Jim,
 The original owner of mine replaced the stock awning with a AE awning (model 8000 I think).  It's a bit larger than stock, perhaps 15 or 16 feet long.  It works great and I can't complain.
 AE is probably the most popular brand and can be found at almost all RV stores.

Have you tried contacting the factory your self?  Perhaps you might get better results.
