We will be going to So. Lake Tahoe next week to attend a soccer tournament our granddaughter is playing in.
We have a 26.6' MB. We welcome any suggestions, hints, leads, etc., etc., you might have on places to stay.

Thanks in advance,

Anne Johnson

Anne,
Sugar Pine Point SP is nice.  I've camped there with a 27' SOB, so I'm sure it can handle your MB.  It's about 30" to So. Lake Tahoe, but I think you have a toad, right?  DL Bliss & Emerald Bay SPs are closer to town, but can't handle the MB.

Here's a handy map: http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/ltbmu/recreation/camping/map-guide.shtml

Let me be more clear: it's about a 30 min. drive to town, not 30 inches.

As others have mentioned, Sugarpine Point SP is the only state park in the area that can accommodate your 26.5'; the others have length limits below that.  You'd have to check Reserve America to see if anything is open for your dates.
If not, you could try Campground by the Lake; it's a private RV park that some folks like very much.

For future reference you might investigate Tahoe Valley RV as well. I always stay there when I'm in the area. They even have shuttles to the Casinos at State Line. They are located near the "Y", just north of the air port.
