Anyone else having trouble finding this necessary product?  We have always gotten it at Wal-Mart, but during our time in AZ (more than a month), we haven't found it...not even a space where it was once stocked.

We're not out of it yet, but would like to stock up again.

Hit Tina, I haven't found it in our Prescott store lately. Let me know if you find it. (It didn't have peanut butter in it I hope.) Keep looking. Take care, john and linda leach.

These are some other manufacturers (google for more) of bacteria/enzyme holding tank treatments; I've used Pure Power for a long time with good results:

I had the same problem and when I contacted the company they advised that due to the increased shipping costs etc Walmart way west was not carrying. I bought mine at Camping World  when last way out west. Other option call the company they may offer a option to sent to you.

Has anyone here used RID-X?  A 'frugal' RV friend of mine says that it works as well as the RV-specific products.  Anybody got any thoughts pro/con about it?

TIA,

Rick

Rid-X is meant for septic tanks.  For the short time that it remains in a holding tank on an RV, I doubt it does any more good than not using anything (which a lot of fulltime RVers do...that is, they don't use any kind of tank treatment).  However, it won't hurt anything, so if it makes you feel good to use it, go ahead.

Come to think of it, Andy, the last time we saw it was at the Las Cruces, Wal-Mart. We're now in Desert Hot Springs, CA and there's a big Wal-Mart nearby as well as a big RV Supercenter.
