Magellen 4040 January 16, 2009, 02:11:57 pm Yahoo Message Number: 98620Group (Especially Kate) I noticed some chatter on the LazyDaze_SoCal_Campers site having to do with the Magellan 4040 (?) and it's ability to locate campgrounds. It seems it's just a bit different with every model. I have found the easiest way to do this on the 2610 and the nuvi 650 is to hjust dl a POI file for campgrounds. These are constantly being updated and work pretty well. I will investigate how I should proceed in order to download one of those POI files to the 7200.In the interim I've discovered that I need to select the category "Lodging" in order to access "Campgrounds/RV Parks". The only problem is that the returns are all for obscure 'camps' such as municipal summer camps and/or YMCA camps and others of that ilk. Given the few commercial campgrounds/RV Parks on the list it is wholefully incomplete.I'll keep on keeping on!Steve S. Lazy Bones & Jiggs
