MSN Direct?
Yahoo Message Number: 98138
Finally updated my GPS receiver to a Nuvi 880 with  MSN Direct. There's a free trial offer for 3 months, but looking at their coverage area, it's spotty indeed, covering only the larger metropolitan areas. Might be useful if we were full-timing or on the road a lot, or lived in the city - - none of those apply!

What do other LD'ers think of MSN Direct?

Oh, and Merry Christmas from,

We bought a Nuvi GPS last year to get us around the city of Philadelphia when we went there for a daughter's wedding.  The free MSN Direct took me around road repair/closings that even the locals hadn't known about yet.  Kept us on schedule more than once, so it was great.
But as you say, Bumper, unless you spend a lot of time in major metropolitan areas, it doesn't do you much good.  We took advantage of the free time and didn't subscribe.  Haven't missed it once.  But I also haven't been driving around major metro areas! And Merry Christmas to you, too! Dick
