MS Streets & Trips - Laptop GPS

This post is for those who may be interested in laptop GPS systems.  I know many folks prefer the stand-alone GPS systems - if that's you, you can skip reading any further.

I discovered last week that Microsoft is offering a fully-functional free 60-day trial download of its latest GPS software, Streets and Trips 2009.
At the end of the 60 days, one has to buy a copy of the program and use its Product Key to activate the version one downloaded.  There is no need to reload the bought version.  Pretty amazing to get a fully-functional copy of a program that you can evaluate for 60 days.
