Some time ago there was a post requesting info on a locking container to be used as a safe in a LD.
I just ran across this web site and it might be of interest to some of our members...

I hadn't heard of them until just a short while ago so cannot comment.
It sure looks nice though!

Steve,
It looks nice, but as an ex-cop with a critical eye towards security, it don't look tough enough! In fact, a couple of whacks with a hammer near the latches would have it sprung open. Or one swipe with a hatchet would cleave through the aluminum body.
If you need a safe in your LD, then get one at Harbor Freight or similar. They have them in several sizes. Awhile back the small ones, with electronic keypad and over-ride key lock, were on sale for $18. Yes, they do need to be bolted down, but this isn't all that difficult. Use suitable round head carriage bolts and washers through the floor (round head underneath the rig where it can't be undone - - nuts inside. Or, use regular bolts and use Loctite on the nuts or Nyloc [self-locking] nuts inside the safe).

all the best,
