Fredericksburg VA RV Parks

Does anyone have experience with RV parks in the Fredericksburg VA area? I will be in that area in a couple of weeks and need a place to stay for several days.  Also would like to store my LD there for several more days while I visit my son in the Georgetown area.  Can't park the LD at his place.

Hi Doug,

Last summer we buzzed down to the Manassas area to look at a LD for sale at Bull Run State Park that might serve your purpose very well.
Delightful Park with water/electrical hookups and a dump station. Its closer to the Georgetown area than Fredericksburg and it has an RV storage area you may be able to use.

Although a little pricey, we used the Fredericksburg KOA (located south of Fredericksburg near Exit 126 on  I-95) when we did the Civil War  battlefields in the area.  Their pull throughs are far apart and wooded,  but long enough for a motorhome and toad.  I seem to remember that they had  a storage area for RVs.  Their phone number is 540-898-7252, in case you  want to call them and find out for sure.  We spent a week in the  Fredericksburg area and found it extremely interesting.
