Pictures and color of 92 I'm considering

A point was brought up in my first post about the stock color of the LD I'm purchasing pending inspection.

I uploaded photos to the gallery, here:

Not sure if the link will work.  Cut and paste to your browser should.

Thoughts on what this color is?
Condition based on photos?  Tough I know but any comments appreciated.

Thanks,
Jerry

That's a bad photo of a red LD.  Back in 1992, the "white" part was actually cream-colored.
The interior seems to be not the original, but an update perpetrated by somebody with design taste very different from your fiance's taste (and mine).  Reassure her that slipcovers are very easy to do on the boxy LD sofas.
Have you looked at the listings of  LDs for sale in the  Files section of this board?

Thanks, that helps.  Must be a Southern Cal red :-)

My Fiance is a designer so she's actually excited to "de mauve" the interior and make it her own.

I looked at the classifieds here, this one is less than half the price of the 26.5's

Yup, she's red and white on the outside - annnnnd looks to be VERY well cared for at that.

As for the interior. Even Lazy Daze in their weirdest upholstery decision moment never dreamed of such a gawd-awful interior color. It's a kindness to call it "mauve."
Slip covers for the dinette are a piece of cake, while the back couches present more of a challenge simply due to their size, they can be slip covered as well. The driver and co-pilot seats, however, will require the tender administrations of a professional, I fear.
Good luck with your new MB and welcome to the club, you will have many years of great fun in it, once you get rid of that inside color.
