These are wonderful house/RV ideas from the "Families on the Road" yahoo group I joined!  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fotr/>

While all these links are fascinating, the Tumbleweed little houses might be my favorite.  I love the Not-So-Big House books, the Cottage Book, etc.  They seem so efficient, just like an RV.  The Tumbleweed motto reminds me of the Thoreau quote mentioned on here lately about windows of the little house looking out on the big world (or something like that).
 Be sure to read the FAQ's on the Tumbleweed house- the smaller houses arrive fully assembled and on a small, road-worthy trailer.  I love the green ideas for electricity (solar) and plumbing if you don't want the standard that it comes with.  And check out those heating costs!  $5/month.  Very cool.

And if you click the "Oprah" link in the bottom left corner you can tour the designer's house – looks a lot like an RV.  I think he could really use a Travasac in the loft bedroom!
