Joshua Tree next week? February 02, 2008, 09:29:41 am Yahoo Message Number: 89095We just got done moving to Chico and are tired of unpacking and the whole experience and need to get away in our LD. We would like to leave Northern CA. next Wednesday and go down to the desert. Is this the time of the year that Joshua Tree will be busy and difficult to find a site in Jumbo Rocks? We have been camping close to Joshua Tree and just never made it there and have heard how beautiful it is. Thanks, and any suggestions as to where else to stay in that area would be appreciated.Sandra 06' 30ft IB

They just moved to a site in Arizona, but I'm sure they can tell you what things are like in Joshua Tree. Kirk is also a volunteer moderator for one of the forums at the Escapees Club web site. Dick

The LD SW is having there group get-together there this weekend and it is a great campground with nice clean showers and lots of hiking trails.
