Just a note, I got the same message, but I believe that the recall only applies to 8 pound compressors. We only carry a 2 pound in the rig (and I doubt anyone carries an 8 pounder), but you're right to post it, some people might have the larger model at home. Or who knows, maybe some folks do travel with an 8 pounder?
